If I was a Port fan and just saw the inept first three quarters that resulted in 3.12 - against a poor Adelaide team - I’d be ******* apoplectic. That was abysmal.

Lol Port had more free kicks than Crows. Umps were not the reason Port lost, poor goal kicking was. Good match overall, high intensity that only broke open late.

Not sure we are a contender to be honest, though long as we find a way to keep banking wins you never know when form clicks to peak. Certainly would rather it in the last couple weeks of the year than the start.

WCE know how to win a flag, Collingwood have no clue so do don't worry about them and the Giants won't win in Melbourne when it counts. The Cats are hard to call but they look OK atm. Happy to take the win tonight, controlled much of the match though definitely gassed out bad late. 2 huge weeks in a row with physical contested matches caught up a bit. It's been a good turn around from our early season form so happy with where we sit but just not convinced we can beat the best sides of the comp. Time will tell.

Was at the ground. Crows were the better team for most the night and took the crowd right out of it. Was good they made a comeback - or it would have been a very forgettable showdown.

Adelaide's ability to continually replenish defensive stocks year on year is amazing. Their recruitment, development and setups are A1.

As a supporter, I am also astounded, it's actually unbelievable. We lost Bock, Davis, Lever (can't remember who else) who were all brilliant......so we get in Doedee (injured now) and Keath who are both potential AA's, to go alongside Talia, Laird, Smith and Brown. Milera to come back soon too. Has been some amazing recruiting.

It's his nickname from the boys. He's a very laid back kinda guy off the field, and very tall. They have called him that for a number of years. The Crouch brothers were interviewed after a game this year and called him the Big Easy during the interview, so that's how the media know about it now.
