Vossy's after game presser wouldn't have inspired much confidence if you were a Carlton supporter.

He just keeps trotting out the old "we weren't good enough and we need to get better" line but they don't get better, he's a guy that is all out of answers

****ing useless coach2 Coleman medal winners, 2 AA mids, an AA KPD and 1 AA half back with Saad effectively another. Add in players like Cerra, Hewitt ext and they are good enough?

**** me. This club has killed itself by appointing a useless coach with an insipid previous coaching record

Armchair Experts talking about how good Melbourne are, and how they would be the third favourites for the Premiership, while ignoring the fact that they have only won against 1 top 8 team this season and lost to 4 others…

Name and shame these Armchair Experts, they obviously don't have a clue!

Melbourne are at the elite end of average, and tonights performance only emphasised that!

Carlton are bad though, seriously bad!

Problem is that Cripps is way off his Brownlow best, Walsh is nowhere near his 3rd in the Brownlow best, McKay is miles off his Coleman best, Docherty is not what he once was, and Weitering is not what he once was, and Carlton need all these type guys playing at or near their best, as their bottom 6-8 is not up to snuff.

So what you’ve got is Curnow, followed by a big group who are currently good-but-not-great, followed by a big group who are pretty mediocre, and it’s therefore no surprise that the result of that is a team that’s won 1 from their last 8.

Feel for saad, left essendon to play finals, looking like essendon may play finals and Carlton looking likely to miss.

Melbourne the most overrated team in the comp. Just making up numbers.

Not gonna try to understand whats gone wrong with Carlton this season for some reason they cant score albeit having 2 powerful talls to aim at.

Its quite puzzling a healthy list and solid personnel they are significantly underperforming.
Overrated midfield.
Slow - both footspeed and ball movement.
Predictable going forward.
Ordinary supporting cast to 2 main forwards.
Saad only player with pace who plays with dare, breaking lines has been worked out.
So many bog average players. Probably more than any other team.
