My FIL did his playing basketball with the cousins just last year. He said while painful, it wasn't that intense and was definitely manageable at the time. Hoping for CCJ that it's not an Achilles based on my non-expert knowledge of the injury, the sheer amount of rehab means that you'd literally take almost any other injury.
