North and dockers played some great patches of footy last week.
Should be a good game.
Great test for the Roos engine room after the dockers Fab Four
Fyfe Brayshaw Serong Young combined for:
123 disposals 27 clearances 29 tackles in Round 1.

Cautiously optimistic this week.
Freo played out of their skins against Brisbane.

However they will be on a 5 day break with some major injuries, so they are gettable at Marvel.

If we don't make stupid mistakes and don't allow the ball to go fwd with no pressure.

How are your tall fwds travelling besides larkey?
What’s your fwd height range like?

This'll be won or lost out of the midfield. I'd expect Jackson to comfortably account for Xerri (even Treacy tbh), but if the Dockers succumb to the temptation to put Young back to cover injuries, I think they could be in trouble.

If they get ascendancy in the middle, I'd expect Freo's talls to have a field day against the roo's KPD's.

Can see this being a close one at Marvel.

Zurhaar, Stephenson & Duursma are all 190cm.

CCJ is 200cm, however he had a poor game so many want him omitted for Tyler Sellers who is 193cm and kicked 5 goals in the VFL on the weekend.

We need more from Zurhaar if we are to win, same with Stephenson.
Duursma should prove dangerous and I expect him to score.

Bit of a banana peel game for the Dockers this one, especially given those injuries they picked up against Brisbane.

Still think they’ve got a bit too much in hand through the midfield to give North a realistic chance though, especially if they do the right thing and leave Hayden Young in there.

Freo by 4 or 5 goals

Given its in Melbourne, Dockers with some injuries, North just in a 50/50 game
Can't help but think of the away wins over Sydney, Melbourne and Geelong last year. I'm not as confident as I'd like to be but if we want any sort of respect to back up rolling Brisbane pretty convincingly we should be winning this, even with the injuries and at that marvel of a stadium.

Hard to gauge most sides after 1 or 2 hitouts, so I think this is a genuine 50/50 contest

When did your fan base become rich? LoL

Did your mob buy land in WA and bought the mines there too? LoL
My mob? What do you mean "my mob"? 🤔

I expect NM to upset a few teams this year with their list. If Freo are to challenge for the top 8 then they need to win this one but will be tough.

Xerri was excellent last week

He's a real old fashioned bruiser who win clearances and get dirty at ground level. I expect him to try to physically bully Jackson and I don't think Jackson as the physical ability to go with him. However, I'd expect Jackson to blow him up around the ground and beat him pushing forward. Wouldn't be surprised to see him kick 2 or 3 this week
