Yes, I always admired the way back in 2014 all the players got around Buddy (a guy they'd never met)
from Day 1 and to a man they all signed over the Cola top up cheques they received from the AFL
to the Budster. Some of the rookies even hand delivered their cheques to Bud's mansion in Rose Bay
in the hope they'd get to meet the great man and maybe get invited in for a coffee. It was a special
moment they knew they'd never forget, and even if they never got to play an AFL game for the Swans
they knew helping Bud buy another investment property with their puny Cola check was kind of
like winning a flag.

The irony of a dirty little flog like Papley sooking about a team being physical.

A week doesn't go by without someone from Sydney whining about something.
Well no, he’s not a dirty player, he plays hard but fair; he’s not a flog, he’s very good; and he wasn’t “sooking”, he was ridiculing Essendon because it didn’t work and so they just looked like campaigners.

But other than that, your post has considerable merit.

Again, give us your academy and concessions and see how we do. Bondi would be nothing if they had to play being fed with what everyone else is.

It would not make any difference, if the bombers can't win finals under the current system like other Victorian teams, the issue is more about the club than the cattle.

If Essendon struggle being in Melbourne with the conditions there, they wouldn't do a great deal better under the conditions in Sydney.

You also had a chance to develop and take NSW talent for cheap and guess what? You didn't. You really think Essendon would do well with an academy in Newcastle, the Tweed, Shoalhaven and Inner north Sydney? You guys can't even make it work with Victorians refusing to leave or constantly requesting trades back to you
