Sentence structure may have confused there. My use of “going forward” means moving head into the next few rounds. I will try again.

Just put Petracca forward and Rivers in the midfield going forward.

Im being sarcastic mate 😊

Trac is a star. I’d just let him play the James Hird freewheeling go-where-you-think you’re needed role.

Agreed. Imagine the outrage if we got the opening match of both Round 0 and Round 1 as it should have been. The main event team should get the main event time slots.

Lol… Jeremias thankfully not all Blues are on the bathwater.

Demons forward line will improve regaining Pickett and Petty. Even McAdam offers a bit

Swans, targeted needs in Grundy, Adams, Jordan

In for a solid year

Yes Re Dees. They needed the run.

Yep. Recruitment for need finally happened. Thought Grundy was terrific.

s**t conditions for a football game - Melbourne never adapted. Swans harder, smarter and cleaner.

I would still be a bit concerned about Melbournes ball use going forward, but agin s**t conditions so probably best just to pretend it never happened.

What’s wrong with the conditions

Nice dry night no wind

It was hovering at around 86% to 88% for most of the match.

For comparison Melbourne was hovering between 66% and 70% for the same time

It was very pleasant at the ground. Been way more humid

Midfield is the problem. Langdon finished.

Petty has kicked 19 goals in his career, with 6 straight in 1 game, yet he’s crafted some reputation as being a great forward…
