s**t conditions for a football game - Melbourne never adapted. Swans harder, smarter and cleaner.

I would still be a bit concerned about Melbournes ball use going forward, but agin s**t conditions so probably best just to pretend it never happened.

It is not great, but the bigger problem is delivery from midfield. Oliver, Viney and Petracca all blaze way too much. Half of Oliver’s kicks don’t even spin at all.

This was a really good win by Sydney. Apart from the first 15 mins of the game and a patch in the 3rd quarter, they really controlled the game and kept it on their terms

It was hovering at around 86% to 88% for most of the match.

For comparison Melbourne was hovering between 66% and 70% for the same time period.

That club’s been a real headache for the AFL, to say the least.
When the likes of Petracca, Viney and Oliver are beaten by kids it says a lot about the culture of both clubs.
Surely Goodwin’s on borrowed time.
