Oh yeah I forgot. Essendon are premiership contenders and Brad Scott is the messiah 👍
Yeah, ****ing oath.

WC were the better team last week and lost. North were the better team tonight and lost. That's footy for you.

As for Freo, I'd love to just blame the bye but honestly it was more of the same fragility we're used to seeing under Longmuir. There's a good reason why nobody trusts us. We're lucky to be playing the Bombers next week that's for sure.

I swear the only thing the Vicbias media know about us is that we play 2 rucks. Talk about something else FFS

There's no such thing as a Victorian bias, at least not how the people that use the word think it means.

"Victorian bias" as a concept and frequently assumed explanation/accusation of unfair or inaccurate decisions or prejudice in favor of people from / things that happen in Victoria compared to people / things that happen anywhere else is an example of a mass coping mechanism for non-Victorians when the time and emotional energy their admiration for Victoria costs them goes unrequited.

If the explanation for no one looking at you the way you do all things Victoria places blame elsewhere, it allows you to work through the ugly emotions and misery rejection once again served you with, while disguising it as vicbias indignation, which is basically a trick some of you pulled on yourselves long ago when the idea of assuming everyone else was to blame first took hold and has lived on and evolved ever since in the lexicon of insecurity and cope.

But think about it, for there to be an actual bias, there needs to exist the possibility that a more objective and merit based choice would not always have been favorable for the option bias would choose. And going back a step even before that, there first needs to be knowledge the other option even existed.

The reality of the vicbias concept is that there is no actual element of bias, ever. "VicHUH?" would be a more accurate explanation for the lack of interest. Quite simply, people like us, living in big important locations are in a self-sustaining bubble of greatness, surrounded only by beautiful and interesting people. But even what you might call the high society element of our existence takes up much less time than you all probably assume. For the most part, we are kept very busy day to day staying on top of relentless success.

The idea of there being other options isn't even considered. There's no mean spirited, unfair hoarding of interest or stockpiles of ****s given we aren't sharing. We just don't know how many of you there are or what happens out at the frontier settlements.

Won't be long until O'Sullivan and McKercher are part of the rotations.

We will eventually bat deep through the middle. I wouldn't be surprised to see Powell pushed out .
Don't see it with O'Sullivan sorry.

Maybe a solid citizen that will churn out a hundred games but haven't seen anything remotely close to suggest he'll be a genuine star of the future being a top 2 pick.

Then again, I didn't rate him in his draft year either.

His last quarter against West Coast was excellent. Big part of the reason we got over the line.

That argument makes zero sense. So as a team with a less favorable draw than other Melbourne teams, NM chooses to increase it's difficulty and play even more games away from Melbourne?

...for money. So OniAu's comment is spot on.

Well we played ten games interstate in 2024 , we play 10 games interstate in 2025. So the difference is $$$$. Anyone thinking we'd have got another home game is crazy. We go to Perth every year. So that extra game would have been interstate elsewhere.

So many calls made without considering the facts. Actually due to us supporting others we for the first time in many a year aren't off to Shite stadium Geelong .

Maybe something in that .

Wouldn't that have to do with NM having played "home" games in Hobart for years up until this year? They just shifted the deal to Perth. If they ever stopped doing that they would no doubt have more actual home games in Melbourne.

From 2026 we will reduce that by 2 games. And let's wait and see what draw benefits that brings to us.

Fingers crossed it's Sunday late afternoon home games against GWS and GC.

I've never had an issue with us selling games, good sides can compete anywhere.

We're a small club, so need to do what we can to survive.

O’Sullivan will be the best of all of our kids. Bookmark it.

The pay-off for getting all the favours wirh the draw is equalisation. Work it out from there.
Performances are reflective of your clubs inability to get things right off the field and on. Not because of a percieved uneven draw. You are a victorian club, hardly anything to complain about
