Fashionable colour in the mid '90s.What about the purple?
The lights on them are also red and green.Pretty much. It's how ships navigate into a harbour. They know that left is red, so the line up the left of their vessel with the red light on shore.
In fact, I think Fremantle even has two lighthouses that are red and green as well, if someone can confirm?
I've always seen it as a cross between East and South but I believe it actually comes from the old blue wharfie singlets that faded to purple in the sun.Fashionable colour in the mid '90s.
Or, incidentally, a cross between the red and blue of South and East Fremantle.

Love the portfolio keep them coming
Try blue and white hoops instead of white and blue?Cheers mate- unfortunately I've slowed down a bit with these between running two competitions, and designing for other competitions, but I promise I will get to making more soon. In a bit of a rut tbh when it comes to a Geelong design...
Looks really good, however I reckon they'd have been more likely by 2029 to do a collingwood and inverse their colours for a 'bolder' look.Thirty years later: The navy and white has stayed for Geelong, with a uniform design across both uniforms. The classic hoops design has been slanted in recent times to provide a more "modern" and unique touch to the design. The jumpers feature the cat from the logo on the back of the neck.

Good to see you doing these again too

...but Carlton.
Am I missing something?Geelong will never inverse their colours permanently. Looks too much like Carlton*shudders*
Am I missing something?
I'm saying I think they'd make their current clash their home jumper. So what about Carlton?
That they'd lose their identity and look exactly like Carlton.
Certainly do not see them ever inverting their colours, navy on white is their identity.

Fair enough, I don't get that impression. Agreed to disagree^^ exactly my point.
I don't like seeing Geelong in their clash because it feels like I'm watching the blues.
Thankfully, they only wear it once a year (sometimes not at all).
