Hey boys,

how has Mark Powell been going this year have seen he has been in the best the last couple of weeks. Is he starting to hit a bit of form?

Powell started a bit slow but is starting to hit some really good form. He has been dominating the middle, has good leg speed and great skills. A couple of his bursts from the centre have been unreal to watch. He's just going to get better too i reckon.

What are poeples thoughts about Powells former teammate Aaron Rogers, who was picked up by Eastlake. I reckon that his selction in the rep squad was a load of crap, his name got him through. He's been very ordinary this year.

Thats good to hear about Mark, milfan. Are you associated with Qbyn. So he has been playing on the ball has he Ruck Roving?

Is there any truth in the rumour that Tuggers have lost their ruckman to Narranderra. He played rep footy for Vic Country last year.

Whats his name? I don't think he has set the house on fire down here as he didn't make the rep. side and no ruck king from Tuggers springs to mind.

ALAN MORRIS, definately no superstar and has played at more clubs than he has had hot dinners. Came back for his second stint in Canberra after playing with Ainslie about 3 years ago, left after 3 games after being dropped to reserves. Went and trained with Weston Creek 2 years ago, played a couple of practice matches and took off again. Started the year with Tuggeranong, got smashed in a marking contest by a bloke half his size and told the club he was retiring because he couldn't afford to get injured with the work he does.

One of the oddest blokes you will ever meet that looks like tarzan and plays jane and couldn't lie straight in bed

Great thanks Christmashams. He won't find it easy in the RFL either.

This thread is about as interesting as the AFL Canberra competition. Swans dominate proceedings with very little else happening.

Well, its about to change. I reckon Tuggers will beat Tigers tomorrow, Belconnen will finally show some spirit against the Sydneysiders and win by 2 points with the Wildcats giving Ainslie a huge fright.

Any thoughts from all you snoozers ?:D

Hey Orange Peeler - where are you thoughts or do you only contribute to this site if your beloved Tigers:eek: win !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know about that foot in mouth i think you'll find a i actualy atarted this thread so pull your head in you knob. I suppose your a Belconnen supporter. It is funny though i have waited a week for you to comment on the tigers getting pumped. obviously not real quick on the uptake are you.

does anybody know how ex Gippsland Power and current Ainslie player Shaun Mooney is going and what position he plays?

What about your paper Tigers now Orange Peeler. Not just beaten but flogged by a bunch of young "tuggers". Is my comment quick enough this week ? Lookout for the Creek, they certainly gave Ainslie a fright and are on the improve. Prediction, Qbn to drop out of the four by years end !!!!!!;)

Easily the most dissapointing performance seen by a team wearing the black and gold. To not beat a team that had several OK reserves players running around just shows that the boys from Tigerland may well have got ahead of themselves. While I believe they are going to make the finals a big shift in attitude and work ethic is required when without the footy to prevent them from just making up the numbers.

Thats a bit rough. They were sixth on the ladder last year and have improved to fourth, but bloody hell to wear the black and gold meant a bit of spirit amongst seasoned players and they just dont have it at the moment. ;) Magpies will destroy them in coming weeks to notch yet another win against a team that hasnt beaten them for that long it doesnt matter - Go Maggies !

I knew you were are Blueberry Pie supporter FIM can tell by the brain dead stuck up posts you write.

It has been a while, not since their premiership year of 2000. However being an obvious Magpie fan you may be able to confirm this or provide the correct dates but did it take until the mid 90's for Belco to record a 1st grade victory over the Tigers?

I think the answer to that question could be about 93 or 94 i was only a young tacker but do vaguely remember it. Was at either footy park or Jamo. Can't quiet remember.

Tigers defeated Belco for ten years in a row without loss from mid eighties to mid ninties. They also had a 33 game winning streak against Turner - nine years (Belconnens former identity) - so they have some catching up to do.

Wrong original - records show Tigers defeated Belc for nine years not ten, same amount of winning games as against Turner - 33. The period was 86 through to 95 with Belc winning in round 8 of 96 - 17.10 (112) to 14.10 (94) at the home of the Mighty Magpies - Jamison. :D

So if I have t is correct the Tigers won 33 straight against Turner and then 33 against Belco making it 66 games without defeat. Foot in moutn Im not sure I would be beating my chest to hard over your recent domination. Records also show 13 premierships to 3. But in fairness lets look at the last decade. Belco have played in 8 GF's for 3 flags, Tigers have played in 6 GF's for 3 flags, both have missed the finals once in that time. In fact it was the first in 25 years for the Tigers. My guess foot in mouth may need to take some of this into consideration when gloating about his beloved Magpies. Things can change very quickly, just ask the boys at Ainslie!

Can anyone give me some information on how former Yarrawonga Pigeons players, Josh Frawley and Joel Price are going. I noticed that Pricey kicked 5 goals the other day but lucky to scrap into the best. I have not seen a thing on big Frawls. Any opinions or comments positive or negative would be appreciated.

Price isn't going to bad, he can play a bit in patches and hasn't got a hell of a lot to work with now that Ainslie only have a hand full of senior players.

Frawley would have to be one of the most over rated and over payed players in the league. Is tall and good at getting the ball down in the ruck but is terrible around the ground, and that's only if they can get him fit enough to run onto the field on game day. Obviously a very good negotiator!

Whats the go for this weekend lads ? Tuggers to notch up two wins in a row over a more fancied opponent. The Demons to finally break the Swans winning streak and - the upset of the decade, Wildcats to defeat the Tigers at home - NOT !!! Is it true that Powell has broken down and may not play for 6 weeks with Qbnbo
