I also have my doubts, but most people seem quite convinced that the top 4 will be Cooney, Walker, Sylvia, Ray. If that in fact occurs then it will only take Melbourne to pick someone else, and Tenance will slip to us. I hope! :D
Melbourne are ready to pounce at pick 5.

Well, we'll find out in about 37 hours' time. On one hand I've plenty about Melbourne picking up Tenance at #5, but on the other I've also heard plenty about Melbourne wanting another "hard nut" and thus picking up McLean or Dunn.

Bullen isn't in the same bracket as those other guys. He's more of a Joe Misiti type, although not quite so slow.

Reliable source tells me that Tenace will not last pick 5.

Expects Melbourne to finish with CS and KT.

I know you probably won't believe me, but it came from a Board Member of the MFC.

I guess you can never say never, just look at Salopek last year.

knew that he's an in and under type but to me he always appered quick. don't know why maybe cos he's compared to smokin Joe anyone would look quick compared to him.

not doubting you but why would a board member have a say on who's drafted? and I doubt pick 5 has already been decided.

People with "reliable sources" are telling me Tenance. People with "reliable sources" are telling me Dunn. Whose source is reliable?

You'll have to excuse me for not believing you, but feel free to say "I told you so you faithless bastard!" come Saturday.

I dont think he will last either Lamby...im just saying we need his pace more than you guys do. Melbourne need tough nuts and Dunn is certainly one of those
Last time we went for a tough nut was pick 9 in 2001... :(

Johnstone, Yze, Armstrong and Heffernan :)p ) are all pretty quick, but Tenace ****s all over them in that department.

Mine. :)

As I said, you can never say never, but my source is very reliable.

Over 20 metres he doesnt. Heffernan ran the exact same time as tenace at the draft camp. 2.86 secs

For a laugh for bomber fans Aaron Henneman ran a 2.85secs...faster than both those guys..pity he cant play football though.

But you see, I can't verify it. As far as I'm concerned, and especially considering the other people with supposedly reliable sources, it's speculation. At least, I have to take it as speculation. So we'll see on Saturday.

Aaron was the quickest in the draft camp in his year, I believe.

There's still a chance for him, I think Marcuz. He was decent in 2001 at CHB and showed some promise. Since then he's been cut down by injuries and by being played out of position. He's got the pace to match forwards on the lead, and he's got the strength and size for the one-on-ones. Just needs to build some experience and confidence.

Maybe Stevo...I prefer Hunt to take a key back spot. He is a better kick and is even faster than Henno is. Henno is on his last chance to make an impression. Whatever position he settles into it wont be as a ruckman....well at least i hope not.

Agreed.

Tenace runs the 200m in 21 seconds.

Henneman is lucky to be your list... but he would probably walk straight into our side. :(

Given that we lost Jacobs, an ageing Wellman, and an injury and suspension prone Fletcher, we really had no choice but to keep Henneman and Hunt.

I don't think he would walk straight into your side. You've got the likes of Miller, Lamb, Caroll, Ferguson, Smith.

Well thats not really true. We both arent fans of her music. And we both would like to shag her brains out albeit to different music so in a way we do agree;)

I've never found her all that attractive.
