Who would you want to show the AFL next year?
My view is SBS because of all the great sport coverage they've provided. It just makes me think they would have some success in QLD and NSW on Friday night because everything they touch turns to gold.

2 years ago, I said the ideal TV coverage split was 7/10/Foxtel...I'm sticking to that.

I agree SBS would be a fantastic option, however they wan't to keep their national multi-cultural image - rightfully or wrongfully SBS don't value Australian Football in the same light they value 'Football'

I'm going to miss the weekly programs on Foxtel...

Can you imagine them and there bloody commentators. Craig Foster talking about how "Team A" can improve and "Team B" should aim to not let them improve in the second half. Not to mention he'll need to find a new love child, since im sure Scott Chipperfield dosent play AFL.

ABC, means they would need to lose the VFL down here, but the commentary, headed by phil cleary is great! If the match is slow, they vertually ignore it like cricket, and talk about anything and everything while having a good perve on the fine young feminin company in the crowd
