EA sports is adding a mystery game to it's lineup in 2020. What's the chances of them teaming up with Tru Blu

Everytime I buy the new AFL game just to support the sales in hopes that quality improves for the next game. Was keen for this one too but the delays have killed any hype and hope for this game.

The only thing that will make me get this one is if it blows everyone away

For me it definitely kills the hype but (although it probably should) not quite the hope.

It would be great to think that the delays have been because they want to improve the game as much as they can and release it when it is properly ready. I'm not buying it until there is something positive from people who have played it because I think my hope is well and trully misplaced.

But until then I'll still wait and see.

As the old saying goes "The definition of insanity..."

The AFL/Tru Blu really did us over on AFL games. As soon as it went to a bargain basement developer willing to work for peanuts we lost all chance of a truly great game. For all their insistence on social media and youth, the 60 year olds in charge of this stuff at the AFL still do not understand video games in the slightest. They don't understand the marketing power of an actual good game.

They're happy to keep putting out the a cheap product, and have 2 responses. Either the game sells well (because people are starved for AFL games and footy tragics) and there's no problem, or it sells poorly which means they decide video games aren't worth bothering with.

Honestly a delay is fine as long as they improve enough off of Evo 1. They just need to polish a few things like the home and away factor. I’m definitely chomping at the bit to play this. I got Evo 1 to a point where it was bearable and somewhat fun but couldn’t it perfect but they are on the right path.

What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of the UE game engine for evo2?
Was there any new player motion capture done?
What changes have been made to player AI?
How many staff/how much time has been budgeted towards patches/dlc after release?
What is the release date and will it be the same on all platforms?
Were any AFL players or staff involved in the design or testing process of the game?
What support and guidance was given to you by the AFL?
Are there any improvements or additions to a career manager/coach mode?
Will there possibly be an evo3 if sales meet their targets?
