Ok let's sort this shit out.

What are all your settings that could be related to the issue set at? Ie. Auto interchange, be a pro settings etc.

Also, when you pause the game to bring your player back on the field,how do you do it? What menu option do you select?

Edit: Is it possible that you can only do this in the minor leagues and not when you are playing in the actual AFL?
 
For set shot goal kicking with no wind, e.g. at Etihad, can we confirm that it is impossible to miss?

If only the wind affects your accuracy, and your default orientation is directly towards the goals, how would you ever miss?

Does the straightness of your joy stick pull down affect your accuracy?

Nah I've been playing as Arnell in AFLW and the options always been there so maybe it glitches out when you first start a career (the AFLW players have some serious pace compared to the mens interestingly enough)
 
Made to the GF in my first Be a Pro season as Jaegar. We finished fifth and are about to play St.Kilda who finished first. Just loaded up the game and there is no special animations before the game other than the standard national anthem like any finals game.

I am playing manual interchange in the TAC as a forward flanker. Maybe u can rotate midfielders but not forwards?

I can't answer 100%, but if you let the bar go into the red you will spray it.

Can confirm this. Impossible to miss unless you are 55 meters out and accidentally over power the kick.

Any slight deviation of the right stick should really make a difference in regards to accuracy, but alas, this isn't the case at all.

Ideally, I'd be happy if the player's set shot ratings meant that some kicks would go wide even if you pulled down on the stick perfectly.

But plenty of gamers' heads would explode if they implemented this.

I went into career (the main menu option with all the captains) and chose listed player and then picked Arnell and I can guarantee it's be a pro

All my settings are set to the defaults and full auto interchange

How long do you last after coming back on ?

I always waited out the last few minutes of the quarter so I could rebuild my stamina thinking that if I immediately went back on I'd just come off again

Well for NBA games it's a combination of:

a) Player skill
b) Distance
c) Openness
d) Timing/straightness of flick

For everyone who keeps saying "we can't expect an NBA 2k/FIFA like game" I understand that in general, but this is a pretty simple gameplay mechanic that they have ****ed up.

At least Big Ant had it such that players would naturally hook the ball a bit, so you had to account for that even without wind.

The players are all the same heights in cutscenes presumably because otherwise a tall player would high five a small in the face (AFL Premiership 2007 had this problem)

But obviously in gameplay they are all correct heights

What is this garbage?

Got the number one pick and there are players in the high 80s!

Also managed to trade in Fyfe, Dusty, Heath Shaw, Alex Rance, Bont, Tom Lynch, and Callum Mills just as Brisbane.

Wicked Witches this makes the career mode almost unplayable, how is this acceptable? Do you really think all this is realistic or do you just not care?

I played around with set shots for a while in the free roam mode and the direction you flick the stick does affect your shot but it's only slight

Not yet but I'm not sure I have kicked one from 60 yet. Edge of square is the longest I have kicked, not sure if that counts.
 
In one of my games I had a free kick given to me for a push in the back in the marking contest which was clearly there which I thought was pretty cool and realistic

Nope. Before my career got glitched to hell I was playing as a half forward and I could rotate myself.

FWIW I played with all of the interchange settings at one point or another, so I don't think that's the issue.
