Doesn't make it fair. Doesn't mean they wouldn't have had a better chance.

Its a completely F*cked system.

Not sure how anyone can defend it as a completely unfair advantage for the Vic teams.

Especially when most professional comps around the world don't play the final game at the same place each year. They either favour the highest finishing side or it is played at a neutral venue. The AFL are weirdos in this regard.
