I don't know guys in AFL98 Peter Matera had his speed attribute pretty much to the max
I remember Finals Fever for PC, Danny Morton from fitzroy was the quickest in the game at about a 95, pretty sure freo and fitzroy were the quickest teams and that was easily the most important attribute, funny that it was called finals fever but you never actually got to play finals

i remember when ever i played against them i would always have a laugh when he was in the play. i wondered how the **** that could happen
One of the devs went to school with him and had issues. Got his arse handed to him for doing it
I used to run into the open goal and hold down sprint...my guy couldn't run through the goals so he would run on the line and the opposition couldn't tackle him.
Kinda feels good to point out a flaw in someone else's AFL game for once!

I remember in AFL 2005, Judd had almost maxed out stats for everything.
The game was a .. bit easy though, given I kicked 30 goals in a single game with Lynch, who won the Coleman and Browlow by about 40 votes from Robert Harvey. 3 votes every game.

Great news. Finally!!! It will be out late August-late September IMO. just great to hear something about it and some news.
Can't see it coming out this year. Happy to be proven wrong, although I'm certainly not expecting miracles from Big Ant.

Wells had all 100's back then. The Game considered him as the next big thing

If they do realese it this year I feel they have to get it in stores by start of September tO Maximise sales, other wise I feel they should hold it out until March 2011
Very true, this is probably why I believe it will be realesed in 2011. No point going through all the effort for a new game and not putting in the next side. Thing is it will seem old in 2012 as there will be no GWS
I hope they reintroduce the 'snap for goal' button. Loved it in Premiership Edition when you could sprint to the point post, snap it and have a 1/10 chance of making it.
Best goal I ever kicked was with Michael Gardiner, when he ran out of bounds past the point post, snapped it and it went straight through the middle. Against my brother too

Best goal I ever kicked was with Michael Gardiner, when he ran out of bounds past the point post, snapped it and it went straight through the middle. Against my brother too

Snap button was awesome! Surely that will be in the next gen game.

Will be hard though, I'd imagine
Square= Long/Messy/Quick Kick (which kicks as soon as the button is pressed, always a powerful kick.
Triangle=Pinpoint Pass/ Shot at Goal/Accurate Kick (takes a little longer but goes to a player most times)
Circle=Handpass (and a handpass that actually goes to a player instead of the previous series)
Cross=Mark (when in the air) or Snap when the ball is in hands
L1 (Sprint)
Thats all I can think of I guess for now

I would of thought X would be Mark/Short Kick and R2 Sprint.
