AFL Game Part 2

Onto the AFL game, Daisy loosk great. I am surprised by how good the hair looks, as hair is notriously hard to apply in games.

Its the reason a few fighters were left out from UFC 09, and why a lot of protagonists have shaved heads. Kudos.

Who got left out of 09 due to hair issues?

May as well ask a question while i have you:

On XBOX live, will the 4 players be able to play on the same team, or will it be 2 vs 2?

Also will there be banana kicks from the boundary?

There were a few. Some of the guys who were DLC this year, didn't make it in to 09. If you notice, all of the guys in 09 are bald or shaved (heads)

We are relatively small, perhaps, but we are Australia's second largest studio.

The points about passion for the game cannot be overstated. When the CEO (me) and all leads are passionate about their footy then you know we are going to be doing our best. It would be embarrassing to make anything other than something we can be proud of. My son has already told me that this game better be good or his friends are really going to give it to him big time!

Great to hear, not that I didn't know already but it's always something that you love to hear from the developer that you know they really do have the passion behind what they are trying to represent. I mean if you didn't have the passion for the sport I highly doubt you'd be on this site in the first place.

Yeah, we're proud of the hair (Given the way the votes are going, I'm hoping we are equally proud of the beards!)

8 players total online (maximum 4 v 4) accross 2 machines. All players can be allocated accross either of the two teams, ie 8 players could be on the one side.

Obviously I hope we kick it in WA - we need it, I am seriously depressed after the past two weeks

I suppose there aren't any with long hair, but then again there aren't many fighters going around with long hair. Clay Guida I guess.

But then again they had Leben and Koscheck with a bit of hair on their heads...

Back to the topic, I just want to add that I'm thrilled that the team making this game are footy fans. That was probably my biggest worry, that it was possibly being developed by a team who had little vested interest in the sport. Ross, you have cleared up these worries and then some!

I've played 7 player NHL 10' on PS3. It's chaos but great fun.

It does seem an odd number but it is due to Bluetooth restrictions, I'm pretty sure.

I assume there's a season mode, if so how do you manage the drafting of players if it's in there. Would you scout players or just be presented with the prospects and their potential and current ratings?

I resisted the urge to spend M$ Points on a lightsaber however a footy uniform would be too good to pass up.

Could also do a similar thing with the ps3 but bring out the club logos in the PSN store as avatars I think the ones in the PSN store are like 45cents each good for me seeing I got about 60 cents left in my wallet. Id deffinately buy a Port Adelaide avatar

EDIT: I should add that certain players went into the weights room to pump their muscles and get better measurements, some were measured 3 times!
