The AFL congratulates West Coast Eagles on their initiatives regarding player behaviour. Unbelievable. Vlad says if TL has a specific allegation then bring it to him and he will look into it. The invite is there. Said he took a call from Swann at 7.30 this morning saying the club is happy to cooperate in any way as we have nothing to hide.

Vlad says it's called list management. He's pretty much exonerated us right there. Says it has been going on for years where clubs put their players in for surgery and blood their young players. Case closed.

Why do you find that so hard to believe? The club has had the blow torch put on them since November 2006 (and rightly so). It is obvious and entirely logical that the club would have done more than any other club to introduce initiatives aimed at rectifying bad behaviour, which they needed to do more than any other club.

I don't think he is saying that the Eagles have done nothing wrong. What he is applauding is the fact that they have done something about it and that those efforts have stepped up since April 2007 when they were first brought before the Commission.

So we can expect a retrospective congratulations to Carlton for no longer rorting the salary cap?

You played a clearly not rehabilitated drug addict in season 2007. That was a low act. The reason Demetriou is congratulating the Weagles, is that he was the architect behind the AFL's incredibly soft drugs policy, and so he shares part of the blame for the Weagles rampant drug culture. The AFL's drug laws were so lax, the Federal Government got involved, because there were serious questions regarding them conflicting with the Law. Remember Demetriou did a similar PR stunt last year. The AFL and Weagles have been a complete disgrace on the drug issue. :)

Under AFL regulations, Carlton FC have done nothing wrong ..

Unlike Patrica Smith and those other media nitwits, it's clear that no further action will be taken.

I hear fat boy smith's hatred again for Carlton and Dick Pratt on SEN, he called our President, the price-fixer, on KB's show this morning.
The man is an out and out hate-filled tub of lard IMHO.

Some people might think Carlton played on Valium for the last 6 rounds. Wonder if they were tested?

Honestly your constant trolling is wearing a bit thin.

You're right mate!
All the Carlton haters are right we tanked!!!
Patrick Smith on SEN yesterday said "Carlton tanked 11 games in a row"
So by his calculations we should have ended the season with 13-14.5 wins and played finals!!!!!!!
All this from a club that has finished bottom 2 for the last 4 seasons
You're right mate!!

The AFL know that they can do nothing about last year, or it would have been done then. Libba is not exactly starting anything new. It is all media bulldust and will not matter when the ball is bounced on Thursday!
