I'm liking it but what convinced you to pick Sydney? Also not sure about Adelaide covering the line.

Despite the fact Geelong pumped WC, i think Sydney are in better form.
No Hawkins is a big loss for the Cats, especially since Tippett has been firing for Sydney.
I think the Swans will win in a tight game, by around 10-20 pts.

Pretty confident on Adelaide covering the line, they are pretty slick with the ball at AAMI.
I expect many of the midfielders to get in on the goals.
I don't thinking Melbourne will be very competitive.

that's what I was thinking. Brisbane has been pretty good up there.

how about these tips?
coll over 24/under 39
adel over 60
geel under 39
freo over 24/under 39
gc under 39
rich over 60
bris under 39

im thinking of covering with bris/gc/geel head start

Yeah, nah I was just being smart. I'm not convinced the Brions have taken Voss' sacking that well, they couldn't help but win last week playing GWS. I think the dogs are far too hungry and must be feeling pretty good about themselves right now. Not sure what their record is outside of Etihad... Might not be too flash. Either way I don't think you could take Brisbane with any great confidence.

3u carlton - 17.5 @ 1.92
1u carlton 40+ @ 3.5
.5u carlton - 60.5 @ 8.5
.4u carlton - 80.5 @ 18
.2u carlton 100+ @ 51

come on player revolt!
I was thinking the same thing, checked dis fred to see if anybody else was thinking similar, or trying to talk people out of doing similar.

I've gone with:

$100 Carlton 40+ @ $3.26
$50 Carlton 60+ @ $7.02
$50 Carlton 80+ @ $17

Works out that anything less than a 40-point win and I lose $200,
Carlton 40-59 I win ~$120
Carlton 60-79 I win ~$470
Carlton 80+ I win ~$1320

I reckon there is a solid chance I will lose the lot, but the chance of winning big if the wheels fall off Essendon this week is too juicy to ignore. I won a couple hunge betting against Essendon last week so the way I see it, if they get up this week then I'm back to square one.

This time last year, at the same venue, Carlton won by 96 points. Leading into that match Essendon had lost by four points to Adelaide in Adelaide and 24 points to North at the Dome. Their form was arguably better then than it is now, having lost their past four matches leading into this weekend by an average of nine or ten goals.

At the MCG this season Essendon have gotten progressively worse: +148, +46, +29, +5, -79 in that order. Carlton's form at the MCG has been crap all season - until last weekend.

Well that's why i gave them the arse long ago and only use them for their promotions. A bit like putting up with a bitch with an attitude and only staying with her because she provides mind blowing sex once in a while.
Can someone award this man a medal. He has well and truly filled the brett128 sized hole in my punting board experience.

This week's bets at http://aflpredictions.wordpress.com/:

Bet 32% on Kangaroos at $3.39
Bet 1% on GWS at $21.00
Bet 16% on Brisbane at $1.581

We've actually got North as favourites this week! (52% to win). If so, they're great value at $3.39. I reckon they'll go close - hard to say whether they're actually good enough to get over the line.

Is that with Thompson out? Even ziebel is doubtful. If ziebel doesn't play I don't think north has any chance. You post is helpful as always :thumbsu:

Hey guys. Anyone think Jeremy Cameron more goals than Jack Riewoldt @ $3.60 is any good? Riewoldt is recovering from a bit of bone bruising and should play, but will probably take it easy, no need to risk him before finals. They kicked 3 goals each last time they met, and Cameron is a lot better this year, and Riewoldt isn't. Sunny and 23 degrees this Sunday too, so might see a highish scoring game?

Odds sound about right. If anything, Riewoldt won't be as mobile and will stay inside fifty a lot more. Last week, especially early, he was taking a lot of marks around the 45-55m mark and setting up a lot of goals. The week before against Brisbane he didn't have his kicking boots on. We all know what Cameron can do, so... it's not a bad bet, but I would want $4+ to be interested.

You forgot to mention, BOOTSMA was playing him early, I could probably kick a few on him :p didn't do anything once Jamison went to him
