GREAT WIN! There is belief in this team, and it is growing under Daisy. Fantastic stuff, down 2 players as well.

We were the highest scoring team this week.
Even with a makeshift defense the system is SOLID. We don't get blown out when we do lose.

Anybody who doesn’t watch because “hurrrr durrrr too low scoring” is missing out. The overall skill and fitness of the players is massively higher than it was a few years ago (and not just from our girls). It’s much more free-flowing and exciting now. And yes, we are actually pretty good (and have a young team which should only get better in coming years).

The scoring is up though because the skills have improved. The footy has been really enjoyable to watch across the league this season.
That was really, really good - the girls look fit and their skills and composure was fantastic

The clean skills, composure and dare from our FIRST and SECOND year players is ridiculous I am pretty ****ing excited now.

I think the most impressive thing is that there is visible areas of improvement still to come, both in terms of filling out the overall skill level of the squad as well as well as strength and fitness.

Amazing what happens when you get a real full time coach in there and not someone who's an off-cut of one of the men's teams who's doing it part time.

It actually rules that they were able to get the win over a very solid opponent without needing Roberts to play out of her skin. She’s was almost just another player today but the overall team performance was excellent.
Big credit to McGrath and Lakay who very much held their own in the ruck contests with Scholz and didn’t allow her to take over with her follow-up work.

Great game to watch, the girls seem to be able to execute handballs better than our men’s team.
And to win with out a massive contribution from Ella is telling. So much growth to come from the likes of Rowley, Riggs, Lakay, Painter. Rounds out a satisfying weekend of footy!

Ripping game! Most potent I’ve seen our forward line and crazy thing was Roberts was good but not amazing and we still looked so impressive. Some real depth in this list now.
Rowley was outstanding - best I’ve seen her play. Both the co-captains were great - especially Bella Lewis. The development of Georgie Cleaver continues. Kellie Gibson so impactful. And Charlotte Riggs could be the answer to our key forward issues. Plenty others could have mentioned - fantastic game girls!

It’s two weeks in a row I’ve thought that (Q4 last week obviously notwithstanding). Hey Roberts has been quiet today.
Then you check the stats and she’s had it 24 times, five clearances five score involvements.
I think she’s just broken my brain because her “haven’t seen Roberts much” days are the best game of the career for 90% of this league.
