i agree mags, i had a look through, there are a couple that i know are true but i would say the majority is just people trying to stir the post or making up crap

Let's face it, anyone can make up anything to put on that rumour board.

I read one about Bickley being overweight and unfit - then heard on the radio the next day (out of Bick's own mouth) that he's the thinnest he's ever been pre-season.

So I just read everything there for a good laugh.

Amongst all the crap written there are usually one or two rumours that end up being right. I don't think any of us that read those rumours actually believe them but we still read them anyway.

Someone on the saints forum actually said the day before the draft that Robbie Powell would be selected by St Kilda. He was howled down and told that we wouldn't go down the same path of drafting delisted players from other teams anymore.

The next day, he was chosen.

If there was no rumours and pub talk in our game, this competition would lose something.

I loved the one about Bucks. It started with him being on the outer with his coach & teammates & ended with him being traded to Essendon!

I only read them for a laugh - as sainter said, only a small handful ever come true!
