The Sydney swans have been very busy at the Trade Table as they try to rebuild there list after most the players asked to be traded. The adelaide crows have struck a deal with us and it will see Chris Johnson wearing the red and white next year and Ben Matthews to head to adelaide.

The Adelaide Football Club would like to make this deal confimed. Gary said it was a sad day to lose the exprinced Chris Johnson would have brought to the club wishing him all the best in his years to come.
Gary said on the other hand we are gald to make the list younger again with Ben Matthews comming to the club an sitting very nicely in the back pocket We wish Matthews a very good year an future at the AFC.

The AFL is concerned that some clubs appear to have used 2003 salaries rather than 2004 salaries

Errors have been noticed at Fremantle and the Western Bulldogs.

The AFL will be auditing all clubs to ensure salaries are correct.

The Western Bulldogs are absouloutley over the moon with there new aquastion in Graham Polak Coach Peter Rohde Said we tried to get him in the first trade period but unluckly the deal fell through so now we are more than happy to get a player of his quality as he deffinetley looks a future leader of the club. In result the Western Bulldogs have had to give up Scott Lucas and Patrick Bowden we wish Scott all the best at his new home and also Patrick but we wanted young talent and thats wat we have got.

Collingwood are signalling their intentions on trading Mark Chaffey to another club. The clubs reason for trading Mark is that they feel his commitment to the club was poor and his relationships wiht players was not good.
