Missed the first few minutes cos I was watching Perry ton up (and won't see the end cos I'm heading off to Casey Fields), but probably the start GWS would've wanted/needed at a bare minimum. Not a menacing opposition for them but Blacktown to Morwell has gotta be one of the less comfortable road trips in football, important to have hit the scoreboard early.

Guess there is something to that breeze, Collingwood obviously looking better this quarter.

I'll give you a tip.

They didn't have to hitch down the Hume.

You could do better than that. For example: GWS have only ever* won outside of NSW.

*in the last year?

A win is a win. Could have been a bit more convincing but it's a start. Eva, Gum and Dal Pos starting to impact the game more, which is promising.

Ah Perry. What a star.

God the standard of umpiring is so s**t.

That was legit the worst free kick i've ever seen given the umpire was in a perfect position.

I could not believe how bad the umpiring was in that last quarter, even some of the Norf girls looked embarrassed when they won, were not the better team.

How'd that free kick count work in the last quarter for you?
22-19 to Melbourne. We were reemed by the umps until the last 5 minutes, when we played with cooler heads and less panic.
