From the Whisper column in the HUN:- :D

Things just keep getting better at Collingwood.

On top of the issues the men’s team is facing, word has it the best female player Nicola Stevens wants out.

The best and fairest winner and All-Australian is believed to be interested in a move to arch rival Carlton.

Trade went through... we traded our first pick #5 and another pick (or two) for Nicola and Pick #28.
Haha Collingwood :)

Can't imagine this draft being much chop
Still plenty of talent available, including players still in other sports looking to cross over. League still young enough that the transition can be made without being too far behind.

Good get, fairly sure she won collingwood's bnf and was an all-australian
Did she barrack for us as a kid? Pretty sure that is all that matters

would have thought Collingwood would go after harris now with the picks they have.
We can only trade players.

Foxfooty.com.au understands the Blues have won the race for Harrington’s signature ahead of other Melbourne-based clubs vying for her services.
Harrington, who played for Bendigo Spirit in the WNBL last season, attracted the attention of AFL clubs when she smashed testing at last months AFL Talent ID session at Maribyrnong College.

She has explosive pace and solid athlete who is very hard to bring down, sharing similar physical attributes that of Adelaide star Erin Phillips.
