Sometimes I think that “why do you care about X when Y is going on!?” is the only weapon in the arsenal of people on your side of this argument. It’s quite feeble.

There's no argument - decrying a genocide is everyone's moral duty. Sharing anti-genocidal sentiments is always morally correct - even if the source is a band some people would like to pretend are Nazis in the interests of silencing that sentiment.

Thoughts on supporting terrorism?

Or can you just sidestep this question with “stop looking at that, look over here!”

Where as pretending that Alex Pearce or Kneecap are acktually the ones in the wrong is the strongest argument in history.

The video of them supporting terrorists is on bloody YouTube. Maybe go watch it and then you can stop gaslighting?

The full weight of the UK justice system has been unable to prove any support for terrorism, forgive me if I find your pleas less than satisfactory proof.

Waving a flag someone threw on a stage does not constitute support for terrorism, sorry.

That’s so dumb though. There is a video on them praising terrorists. They weren’t “found by court to NOT support terrorists”. If you could actually bother to look up why the case was thrown out:

Waving a flag and saying you support something probably means you support that thing!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫

The longer there’s no action on this and the longer Israel continues its genocide on Palestinians, the sillier you look.

do you think they care about "looking silly" when they won't change their viewpoint or perspective.

Got a link? I've genuinely not seen a video of them praising terrorists?

Do you think if they had provided any sort of material support - and no, someone shouting up Hezbollah (nor Hamas) does not come close to meeting the standard - that there would at least be concrete charges by now?

Doesn't this feel like a bit of a beatup to nullify their pro-Palestinian message?

No and they probably don’t care about much anyway except for some weird reason trying to pin a terrorist badge on a relatively unknown artist who now has become famous many times over due to the antisemite labellers.

It was these antics as well as other extreme statements that got them in strife. I never said they provided material support and to my knowledge haven’t been accused of that

And from this you're equating them to Thomas Sewell? You're ascribing them Nazi beliefs wishing the death of all Jewish people?

Again, no one gave two hoots until they made their Coachella statements and muckrakers started going through their entire history in order to silence them as critics of Israel.

All a bit silly if you ask me.

To confirm, you think praising terrorists in front of a large audience is something that can just be shrugged off like it’s nothing? Of course it’s like nazism. They think the same things about Jews and make specific mention of how they admire the holocaust.

Hahahahah give it a rest. A court case being thrown out on technicalities doesn’t mean that them parading around on stage praising terrorist groups magically didn’t happen. It’s a fact. It happened. It’s the only reason you’ve heard of that group.
Whatever you might wish to think about kneecap they are one of the fastest growing acts in music today - partly because of idiots like you making such a fuss of them and drawing attention to them.

They played in front of 10,000 people in Fed square in Melbourne last year - well before all this fuss started where they were much less mainstream.

Here is a prediction - within the next 2 years they will play at Rod laver arena to a sold out crowd - you can bookmark this post if you like

Or… actually wiping out an entire group of people is like nazism.

What Israel are actually doing.

I can say **** hamas.
I can also say **** israel

Can you?
No.

Hamas only does bad. Israel is a country of people. I also won’t say “**** Palestine”.

But yeah stick with your “Jews are the REAL Nazis” as if there were a shitter take to exist on this planet anywhere, ever.

i think israel is doing a bit more eradicating presently than hamas is.

Yes, but both sides are genocidal, no? If the only thing making Palestine not look as bad is the fact that they’re losing, then you’re on pretty shaky ground morally.

No, both sides are not genocidal. Equating the group currently maintaining an illegal military occupation of 50+ years and killing a classroom of children each day, with the victims of those actions is a terrible take.

But if they could, they would. No?
How many Gazan kids being killed are acceptable to you to in order that this is avoided. Twenty a day, thirty? Should they be gassed? They're some pretty severe preventative measures wouldn't you agree.
