I dont think ive ever seen a more complete young midfielder ever. His passing is exceptional. His tackling is immense. Hes got a great shot on him, His dribbling is fantastic (that play in the first half when he ran from the middle to the box nearly getting in was sublime). Scholes will never see a starting place again with this bloke in the side.

Only a matter of 2-3 years before hes the best player in the world. Remember he just came of a broken leg too which makes it all the more remarkable.

18 million very well spent

I think the sign of a good player is when he always seems to have time on the ball. There was only one player on the park last night that had that ability, and it was Anderson.

However to write off Scholes is incredibly premature.

Its no offence against Scholes. Hes just not a better player then Anderson atm. Maybe Scholes and Anderson could partner each other and Hargraves on the bench. Either way Anderson wont be losing his spot to anyone unless Man Utd go nuts and buy Kaka. Even then its debatable.

I wouldnt bench Anderson for any player in the world atm.

Has done really well considering when we bought him he wasn't expected to play hardly at all this season. No way I would be writing the Ginger Demon off though we will need him later on in the season when he is fit cause only a matter of time before injuries/suspensions/tiredness sets in.

Scholes will still play but surely you dont believe he starts ahead of Anderson anymore?

Anderson is a better player than Scholes right now.

That being said. There's room for both of them.

Scholes has always been irrelevant in Europe. see; Roma last season for example.

Anderson has the extra bit of brilliance to really stamp his authority and get Manchester United somewhere good with regularity.

I can see it happening happening later on in the season, its Anderson's first full season in English football and you would think he will tire eventually which is when Scholes will be vital in any push for the title.

Teamed up with Hargreaves to give Gerrard and Macherano an absolute pasting. He is a little maestro.

Cesc fabregas may have something to say about this...

Fabregas has obviously had alot more games and time to show his stuff but for mine just based on talent alone Anderson is the more complete player. Anderson always has so much time on the ball. The sign of a true champions. Fabregas is good but Anderson will be slighly better

Why? Cause Gerrard tried to rough him up all game and he stood up to him?

Because he's a typical Manc **** player: A whiny little cheat

For Masch and Gerrard to not have gotten on top of them speaks much about how bad they were. Gerrard let the little twat get to him today

As good as he is, to put him ahead of Cesc, who has improved considerably each season and consistently performed well against the best domestically and in europe is crazy.

Rough up/break ankles.

To be honest, Anderson's lucky Gerrard didn't go in with one of his famous two footed I'm a thug challenges on him.

Very fortunate it was just a tame, I can't time my tackles so how about a broken ankle? tackle.

We all knew he was going to try those tactics as well, was going to be a big test for Anderson and he passed it well.
