I do feel for poor old spiders the most hated, I like spiders, had a pet Redback Ethel for around 3 1/2 years she lived. Ethel the 2nd wasn't so lucky, only 2 years. Snakes are another real hated animal yet I like them. The only time they become a pain is if they start living around the house or near the chook shed, then they have to be removed.

I feel the same for rats myself, I have a couple as pets. They really do make excellent pets. :thumbsu:

I loved my pet Redbacks, so sad when they died :(
Where else my sister was over the moon, jeez a spider the size of a pin head was like a monster to her

Rats are cool, never had one as a pet myself but a friend has one gigantic black and white one called 'pie' (collingwood supporter ) and it was so well trained and quite clever. Same can not be said about its owner, very feral :D

They can also get quite affectionate, and they are even smarter than some cats.

Absolutely shit-scared of spiders.

Our garbage isn't being collected this week because putting the bins out would have required a confrontation with a spider that built a web in front of the gate.

You know you've got a phobia of spiders when you wake up at 1 in the morning and imagine three spiders gliding down from the roof.

Can't stand most insects. Not particularly fond of dogs, although that'll happen when you lived next door to 2 huge German Sheperds as a kid who'd bark at you through the gates every time you walked past.

How can anyone hate horses or birds?

I don't mind domestic birds, though not fond of them either, but birds like crows, magpies, hawks and eagles freak me out. :(

I have 4 or 5 of them that hang around my house...up to about 1.8 metres.

They are quiet as lambs and will take food out of your hand.

They do have a habit however of sneaking up on you. Which can be a bit disconcerting if you are not used to 6 foot of lizard looking you deep in the eye from very close range.

I had a builder up a few months ago to do a quote...he felt a tongue flicker the back of his leg.....

I think he is still in orbit:thumbsu::p

Exactly, When i was 4-5 having a little picknic on my blanket with my vegemite samwich, and it just starting helping itself, needless to say me and my cousin ran away crying:(

my aunts cat, i swear its a nazi reincarnate.
little bitch of a cat, prowls the house like she owns it, pisses and shits where she likes, entire lower level stinks of cat piss except the bathroom and my room (i keep those closed at all times now).
has the most irritating meow's you will ever hear.

had a few monster sized spiders living in the house before, nearly as big as my hand (its not a small hand), used to hang out in my room (this was a few years ago), my nan was terrified of it so when she could catch it she would toss him outside, i think he got back in about a dozen times over two years, i didn't mind seein him around at all :)
