But can we make it 3 in a row against Sydney?

We're yet to string 3 wins together all year.

We were good today, it was good to see a fairly even performance with no huge lapses.

Apart from a few minutes in the 1st & 3rd quarters, we looked very switched on.

I thought it was an excellent game as you'd expect in perfect conditions. Once we got the lead we never really looked in much trouble. We got something out of everybody today apart from Ellis, whose excused as he was injured very early on.

Bring on the Swans!!!

Great win, the odds were stacked against us today, with the umpiring, and the injuries; Ellis (knee), Bizzell (hand), Lamb (neck), Robbo (seems ok, but had his calf strapped), Powell (might be some truth to the OP rumors, he spent allot of time on the bench).

Other than that the game went pretty much according to plan with Neitz kicking 7/12 shots. Green was great through the midfield. The undermanned defence stood tall, and the midfield as a whole was good.

Bring on the Swans.

I reckon the crowd was great today. It seemed so one-sided in our favour and our supporters yelled as loud as they have all year I think.

Neitz and Yze were sensational, Brad Green was a high possession getter but I still don't think all his disposal was great and I guess the negating games of Bruce and Godfrey have to be mentioned as well. Armstrong showed a little bit too when he was out there. I still have to see Robbo's hanger again - mark of the year maybe?

Matthew Whelan had it tough playing on Nathan Brown - 5.2 from 7 kicks!

Pity about the injuries - and they happen to be all our tall defenders. Hopefully Lamb is OK and can play next week.

Let's look forward to next week against the Swans!!!!

Great victory.

Neitz has the Coleman in the bag and he is seriously the man now! Green was great, as was Yze, Godders, Nathan Brown, Robbo and many others. I really think the team did a good job, expecially considering the injuries we had through out the game. We have 2 games against sides that are not overly tall, but the finals is where it counts.

Daniher mentioned Breese and Miller as possible inclusions. I say we give Breese a run as he looked good for Sandy last week.

I am always happy with any win against the Dogs. Could not believe it when Ellis injured himself after just coming on to the ground. We will miss him badly.
Umpiring was awful. There is NO WAY Wheatley will go for that. It was a joke. The entire crowd, including my good self, went mad after that! The umpiring all day was pathetic. That 100 m penalty was a joke, as was the numerous decisions that we did not get.
The award for courage goes to Biz. I had no idea until after the game about his hand. Good to see Green coming into form. I just wish we would play 4 quarters. We could have won by more, but we failed to go on with it. Anyway the signs look good.

Just on the crowd. They were very loud yesterday. Even around me, everyone must have taken their angry pills that morning!

How was the aftermatch?

Well done guys. A good win. You need to keep winning for some good momentum running up to the finals.

I thought we struggled a bit today to cope with your midfield, running it in threes straight down the ground was hard to stop, and that bloke up forward, well, what can i say.

A good win fellas. Well done to you.

The rule is if a free kick is given before a player has kicked in after a behind, the free kick is taken on the edge of the square.

The 50 was because the Melbourne player didn't shut up.

Wasn't a 100 metre penalty, just a free and a 50.

I know i'm not too good with measurement, but since when did a 50 m from an opposing goalsquare take up the whole of the ground?
Why didn't he kick it from the cerntre bounce?
