1996 was the last time we won by over 100 points. It's an awesome win.
Winning by 100 points is a good sign you are on the right track, even if it was against GWS.

1996 was Fitzroy's last game in Melbourne. I was there and it was a pretty strange feeling to be honest. More like the feeling that comes from beating your dad for the first time in an arm-wrestle. Just felt a bit guilty, a bit weird.
The best one I remember was the 100 point win (also against Fitzroy) in the last round of 1988. One of the last times I sat in the old southern stand 2nd deck with the cheer squad up the Punt Road end. After that display I was sure we'd be a force to be reckoned with in '89. Alas, the Roys went on to finish 6th the following year, Richmond last.

I was 1 year old when we beat Fitzroy by 151 and today was pretty strange just watching us pile on goal after goal after goal after goal after goal at will 
I don't like 100 pt wins.
I know that sounds weird - but really they only happen when the opposition is completely crap, and we can do what we want. It's really not that satisfying. I know it's happened to us a fair bit over the years, and I wonder if the opposition felt the same way.
Today just seemed like a complete mismatch. I was at the last 100 pt win (Fitzroy) which most agree was a terrible day. There really wasn't much to get enthused about today. Sure, Ellis was fantastic, but he might as well have been playing against U18s.
Mind you - it's better than losing by 100 pts......................
