Anyone else think that Moore has gone to another level this year?

What I liked about Friday's game is that he was beginning to break the game apart. Except for the careless kick which led to a GWS goal, he managed to quash Cameron, run off him and really attack the ball with clean hands on a dewy night.

I reckon he would've won All Australian last year. As much as I love Gov, I reckon Gov got into the All Australian team based on reputation rather than form. Had Moore stayed healthy throughout 2019, then I reckon he would be All Australian although he'd be competing with Alex Pearce for CHB AA had he stayed healthy.

Gov still had him covered last year. He just got a lot of defensive attention, which Moore will start getting soon too.

I do too, but for a different reason to most. I'm not concerned about his attitude. I think hee's an awesome beast who will do some fabulous things, but I just don't think he's a smart enough footballer to be the champion that we're hoping for. I hope to be wrong.

Yeah, they can keep their 2nd rounders but throwing in wine will certainly help their cause. Let’s say a case of Grange.... for every supporter, then we might agree to sit down at the table with them.

I reckon Port will go after Grimes should Richmond fail this year. Apparently he's on 400k (I thought he'd be around 600k) whereas Port can offer him something like $800k. I don't see Moore going to Port tbh.

Wouldn't imagine that living in Adelaide would inspire Moore. Surprised that Grimes is earning that money, would have thought more. Jordy is on close to 800 so needs to get back to his best to command more.

I wasn't really talking about All Autralian - that's a bit of a numbers game. Gov's numbers might have been down on some other blokes, but that's becasue he got so good that he regularly had a forward playing him defensively and a team altering their transition to try to avoid him. No-one reads the game or the ball flight better or clunks it as consistently as that bloke.

Hes been amazing. Not just winning the ball in the air but attacking it as if he owns it and nobod else is allowed to have it. And clucking them with one grab. And then playing on. Playing wll lat ground leveel as always. Most of all destroying his opponent.

I thought he was equally as good last year only injury stopped an AA season. He missed rounds 9,10, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22.

Spot on last year he was tracking AA as well before injury hit the back end of his season.

Gov is 4 years older, and the coaches kinda wasted Moore his first couple of years playing as a key forward at AFL level when he his body wasn't ready yet, so he's a bit further behind where he should be. And him being 203cm and being athletic as he is at 100kg also means he has higher potential, so another season or two he could easily be the best key defender in the comp (by a fair margin).
