I would vote the Arctic Monkeys above just about any other band anyway. brilliant band. there would be only about half a dozen bands that have been better.


Morton 09 - the band you have in your avatar is one of the bands (the beatles) that would top the Arctics. Any band that did material such as I am the Walrus and Day Tripper is streets ahead of other musicians.

Paramore are an emo/pop rock band. They're not that bad for the genre they're in and the demographic they seem to attract, and I think Artic Monkeys are just another rock band. I'd go for paramore, but I'm not necessarily a fan of them.

Love the arctic monkeys, new album was ****ing good, dance little liar was one of my fave songs of the year. I just wish their name wasn't so bloody ghey. Would have to be one of the worst band names ever.

I just do not see any of the appeal of Arctic Monkeys. The singer of one of my bands absolutely loves them and we've looked at a few songs to cover, but they are just the most dull, boring, basic band musically. There is no creativity or diversity in their music.

Not to say I'd listen to Paramore either - But I don't hate them and I think it's better for girls to listen to them than the electronic crap so popular these days.
