2 finals appearances in 25 years.

an endless amount of coaches and administrators.

So many missed draft opportunities - ie Pavlich and Franklin.

in debt.

no respect from any other teams or their supporters.

Treated with contempt by the whole league. How long have we loyal supporters been duped into believing this was the year but it never happpened? Too many times.

players who do not have the heart or the gonads to win and always finish nowhere 9th.

I could go on but its very sad.

How long do with have to be mediocre for? How much more pain is there to come? When will we climb out of this abyss of mediocrity we are stuck in?

Are we the basket case of the league?

We've won the same amount of premierships in the last 12 months as fourteen of the fifteen other teams. Fifteen out of fifteen over the last 5 months.

Everything else is ancient history.

Personally, I think gettng into the finals means &$&#t...holding up the cup is the only measure of success...and there are a few other teams who haven't done that for a while. The widening of the competition to 16 has made the task even more difficult. The current group has the best 'potential' in years to take the step into the finals and 2 or more years of cleaning house of a few more players, and we could be a top 4 team. Unfortunately naturally there are 6-7 teams that are in similar postions to us, or even a couple years advanced than us, who will be doing everything to make sure we don't get there.

So does the RFC sit down and say, 'we are a basketcase'? Get some balls dude, talk about heads down BEFORE the ball is even bounced!!

Sounds like you're just about to jump, Terry.
Do it and save us all the pain of having to read this garbage at the beginning of a "brand new season" ffs.

We have been the least successful team during my lifetime. How else do you want me to feel when year after year there is no improvement and other teams pass us by?

If you want me to bottle it up inside and bite my lip like some other teams supporters, I'm afraid that's not the Richmond way...it never has been. Tiger supporters wear our hearts on our sleeve, and bleed.

They either perform or there will be blood spilt this year, unfortunately again.

and you think by spilling blood that will work? we have some stability now and dare I say it we are team building which is what wehav been doing for 21 years, lets look at this at the end of the year but right now we need to support all in the tiger army

Not for much longer. There is a light.

But what a joke, its the pre-season and you're already whinging.

Finals is everything this year. We NEED to show we're going places by making it to September.

There is no light. Last Sunday proved it. We've got no desire, no heart, lots of injuries, and destined for a bottom 4 finish.

Seriously, there are not many teams worse than us.

Get over it!
Go and support another club if you want to feel good.
But let the rest of us suffer without your ****.
I could understand it we were half way through a season and we were playing like crap - but this is just so ****ing moronic it's not funny!

I'm a member, I support them so they hopefully won't go broke someday. But I just don't believe in them anymore.

Most of us are members. And some of us get on internet connections from half way around the world, because they're so devoted to the cause, that they want to hear what's happening about the Tiges. They don't want to read your negative drivel crap!

look mate. you can be a member and that is great. but to be a negative member I just do not know what you are trying to achieve by dumping on us. the thing is if you say you are a member and you dump well you dump on yourself as well. we are in this together. lets keep positive and build. I would argue members like you are not needed in terry' regime. we have had too much blood spilt too much hurt and too much self destruction over the years. we are looking ahead now and gooses like you should have learned.

Your a basket case mate. If you think Richmond is, go and support Carlton.

$1M profit, promising youngsters, stable administration, highly regarded coaching staff. Look to the present and future rather than being stuck in the past.

In the first post you speak about the endless stream of coaches and administrators then the next one you talk about blood being spilt if there is no finals this year and by that I can only assume you are talking about either Wallace or Miller getting the flick. If that was to happen then we would truly be a basket case and should just close up shop and piss off. Finally we have some stability at the club, excpet for the playing list which has had the mighty clean out after years of inadequate players getting a spot.

The list, over the last 2 years has started to look like a list, that could bring a period of sustained success and Wallace has not even started the 3rd season of his 5 year plan yet. Give it some time we have brought in 25 odd players in the last 3 draft/trade periods and it will take some time for them to gel together. Look at the Eagles for a good example they picked up a good portion of their premiership team in 2000-2001 and yet waited 4-5 years before they were in a position to really challenge for the flag.

At board level there does not seem to be any sort of fighting and factions it seems everyone who bleed yellow and black is pulling in the same direction and trying to get the once mighty Tigers back at the top of the football world. It will come but what is needed is paitence, sure the last 25 years has been tough but the fact the club has finally got itself settled and stable means that when the Tigers get it right and finals become the norm rather than the exception then God help the others.

For most of us, supporting the Tiges is a life commitment - are you committed, Terry? Or are you gonna jump ship when it just becomes too hard?

You're 37 years old, you've at least seen one premiership. Try being a Doggies supporter and not seeing one since '54.

Premierships don't grow on trees! They're worked hard for, and sometimes along the way shiit happens. Clubs either deal with it or give up. I'm glad our club is dealiing with it, and not thinking about going up north and throwing in the towel. We could have so easily not been in existence now except for the hard work of many ppl to get us to where we even are now.

But they really don't need the constant whining and whinging by ppl such as you. Every bloody year, there's someone who just wants that magical quick fix that just isn't there.

Support your club or piss off!

Last Sunday was a NAB CUP GAME.

Lets have a quick history of NAB vs. Season results.

Geelong: NAB Premiers 2006, couldnt make the eight in 2006.

Carlton: NAB Premiers 2005, rock bottom in the H&A season.

Swans: Havent won a NAB Cup game since Paul Roos took over, premiers 2005, runners-up 2006.

Thats just a brief history of how the NAB Cup means nothing to the real season.

Please go away now.
