Problem is most of those blokes probably still have this year and next in them.

There is a clinical ruthlessness to Hawthorn that is quite enjoyable to watch.

They are peaking at exactly the right time. It will most likely be a Swans v Hawks GF again, suspect Freo might start to drop off a bit for the rest of the H and A season.

:D:D

Starts with a loss to the Blues next week. :D

Kaboom!

what the hey was that? oh, somebody just stuck a pin in the Freo hype bubble.

Anyone out there still willing to argue that Lyon is a better coach than Clarko? You know, that angry ant with the big head and three flags?

I love watching Hawthorn. Perfect blend of skill and toughness, play for each other, super drilled.

Just goes to show how over-rated the Freo frenzy is. Hitting targets is THE most important skill in football bar none.

And I reckon West Coast may well have Sydney covered.

Most would be in trouble for that hit, but for sure the Nat Fyfe rule will be put into action.
My thoughts exactly. The AFL will want to avoid the "you're not going to rob him of a Brownlow for that little hit are you?" media storm.

Very similar to the hit that got Jordan Lewis a couple of weeks earlier in the year.
