Don't go to Borders.

I saw it (season 1) in there for $60, at JB and Ezy it's, what, $30-something?

The highlights of last night:

Tobias' business card: analrapist.

Another amazing episode.

Here's a website about that lawn chair pilot

The lawn chair pilot

Shame it appears it's all over with Showtime not willing to pick it up after Mitchell Hurwitz refusal to continue. I hear there is a Movie in the pipeline tho.

Excellent:D:D:D

Ive only got the first season on DVD and only managed to catch a couple of the 2nd season episodes, and last night was the first time Ive seen any season 3.

What I find confusing is that if you look at any forum topic that asks your favorite TV shows, Scrubs and Arrested Development are at the top of people's faves around 50% of the time, yet they are shown around midnight on a monday:confused:

When you have trash sitcoms like Friends or whatever other rehashed 'seen-it-all-before' programs on in primetime.. I just dont understand how AD isnt shown at a good time:confused:

It has to be easily the best comedy Ive seen since Seinfeld.

It's to smart. Most people want to watch adolecent halfwits try and copulate while drunk. The jokes on AD are so subtle I've not picked them up until I've read about the ep on a forum. You can watch AD over and over again and still not spot everything. People just don't want that as a whole. Give em dumb trash and plenty of it.

I love the recurring jokes/lines, such as "I've made a huge mistake" and "I'm a monster!"
Also love how gay Tobias is, like the other night when Michael walks in to his own party and Tobias playfully, yet firmly slaps him on the arse and when it is revealed Michael said he didn't have a family Tobias spanks him with a similar firmness on the way out.

I like the British area of Orange County :D

Ha, I remember from working there its actually one of the basic sets they have at Universal Studios strangely enough called something like "Old England Town", they really didnt have to change much of it for the show.

oh god last night's was funny...

Steve Holt: "These are 'Oxy-incontinent' pills - they have lots of oxygen to stop you from being incontinent!"

Narrator: "I don't think he got that right..."

and what was the word they kept beeping out?

Pussy.

It was a joke about double meanings - that the U.S. version is considered dirty, and the U.K use a term of affection. But the show doesn't know that, so to speak, when we first hear pussy. So they beep it out, while not beeping the brit usage.

It's all a bit of mind:D:D:D:D. Typical of that brilliant show.

oh ok, I thought it was pussy after the 'pussy cat' explanation, but I didn't know it was an affectionate term in Britain. very funny though, especially at the end where she kisses him and says it
