Article: Eagles Walking Tribunal Tightrope by Craig O'Donoghue, The West Australian

"West Coast's impending finals campaign could be jeopardised by five reports in the last five games with eight members of their best 22 now walking the tribunal tightrope.

Those walking the tightrope:

NIC NAITANUI 93.75 points
SCOTT SELWOOD 93.75 points
WILL SCHOFIELD 93.75 points
QUINTEN LYNCH 71.56 points plus 10 per cent loading
ERIC MACKENZIE 64.06 POINTS until after round 18. 10 per cent loading
ASHTON HAMS 30 per cent loading
SHANNON HURN 20 per cent loading
ANDREW EMBLEY 20 per cent loading
DANIEL KERR 10 per cent loading"

Koby Stevens wasn't added to that list, but I believe his 93.75 points will expire after round 19.

Meh. If it happens it happens. No player this season has intentionally committed a suspension-worthy offence - not even Daniel Kerr. As long as we continue to play a good clean style of football then the rest will take care of itself.

If a Naitanui-style accidental offence occurs again we'll cop it and move on. One of the great things about our game plan this season has been that when players missed, other players came in and performed admirably eg Kerr and Embley withdrawing a few minutes before the derby, Waters getting injured in Round 2 then Ash Smith doing a good job etc etc. I'm sure if a few of those players got suspended in the lead-up to the end of the season we'd cope in their absence.

It's about time we started throwing our weight around. We've been weak the past few years, and if we have to cop a week here and there that's fine.
