When did he last play a first class length match?

couple of years ago. for all the talk about our fast bowling depth, there wasn't a particular standout option imo. Bird was disappointing in 2013 and has been disappointing over the past few months. Pattinson has got his injury woes, Behrendorff too, plus I doubt they would have wanted another leftie, so that rules out Bollinger (if he wasn't already) too. Hilf who was recently in a test squad was recently in the Tas 2nd XI. Sayers had only one good performance last season before going down with injury. You're left a with small cast of characters. NCN, who I doubt think much of, the flawed Cummins and not much else.

While I find it bizarre that Cummins is suddenly on an Ashes tour, it could have been worse considering who is in England. After all, it could have been Hastings.

Prob the best AUS bowler on English pitches... Could be an injury on a par with McGrath in 2005.
