Never like to see people lose their job but I would find it incredibly amusing if Chad was let go by Hinkley. What a bind Kane would be in. Support his brother and lay into Hinkley? Or continue in his unwavering support of his coach? I'm sure such a dilemma would give port fans at least some gratification heading into this off-season.

If Hinkley does in fact stay, he wont let Chad go. If Chad gets the sack, far more likely Kane gets critical of Hinkley with his large media presence.

Lol that people think Port will jetison any of Ken's favourites.
They'll all stay.
They may bring in some top quality replacements for any one they think is expendable.
Then any glimmer of success we achieve next year will be deemed attributable solely to KH and a contract extension will be undoubtedly forthcoming

I've seen several instances where a bog average coach with bog average results has gone all the way, due to loading up behind him with a flotilla of quality assistants to make him look good viz. Goodwin, Bevo.

You need to make a small adjustment. Josh Carr and Shaun Rehn were in charge of the midfield group in 2013 - Rehn the ruck stuff and Carr the smaller mids. They did the same roles in 2012 and at end of 2013 Rehn was replaced by Walsh.

If Hinkley + good assistants = good but not great results, I'm more than happy for the club to poach our assistants for next year from the Brahma Lodge Football Club.
