They obviously don't care about seeing the games played in half empty stadiums..

I'll probably watch on TV but why anyone would pay anything even close to $100 to attend games of cricket with zero context is beyond me.

The ODI's were just as bad this season. I'm a member so I can pick and choose but jeez if I had to pay for tickets...

I realise that it wasn't possible due to the schedule of the Sri Lankans, but they need to schedule these matches closer to the end of the BBL to piggyback on its success. It's been almost 3 weeks since the final and these matches have zero interest.

And they are going up against the footy in Melbourne over the weekend as well.

The issue is the prices, not the ALFW games. Would you pay $100+ a ticket to see a side without Warner, Maxwell, etc

Not at all.
But even when you take into account the TV tomorrow night, its going up against the footy and I know what i'll be watching.

I'd rather watch the cricket, and I'll turn over for the last quarter IF it is close. I'd still rather watch the t20.

Are you referring to the womens game or the community series?

Cos despite the fact that I watch 5-6 games a week during the 'normal' season, I reckon you'd be in the minority choosing a practice game over the cricket. It generally only takes half a quarter of the first game to remind everyone what a waste of time the pre-season is.

Australia have at best their second XI playing over the next week, so its hardly going to be the best cricket we can put out there.
I'll stick to the footy thanks.

If Daisy Pearce is playing I'll watch more of the women's game. She's a great player to watch.

Hope we bat first so I can watch both
