Last of the 3rd round matches today on what is called Hikeniken Day where people come to the tennis to not watch tennis. Djokovic now looking a solid favourite with federer out and he is in good for. Verdasco is up for him, a 6-4 record to Djokovic but Verdasco isn't the same as he has been. Serena should win fairly easily, don't think Svitolina played that well so far. Kvitova versus Keys will feature a lot of ball bashing. Muller versus Isner will not have a rally.

Well every player on RLA and MCA actually heaven forbids actually DESERVES to be there! Funny that! I'm only critical when the organisers put 'random Australian' ranked 60 against some other person on centre on RLA because they are Australian. Although...I'm not going to love watching Anderson or Raonic the next few days.

I never said that, and I don't mind the ODD Australian who is seeded being on a main court, but that should be it. Wasting RLA night sessions on people ranked 60 odd is ridiculous. I love the tennis, but after Azarenka's match last night, I watched the Big Bash...thats hardly great business. I am thankful from Saturday onwards we won't have any bad matches left.

Heading off to the tennis today...

This "super Saturday Heineken day" always makes me laugh.

People pay for ground pass, queue anywhere between for 1-4 hours to get into Grand Slam oval to do more queuing and pay $10 for a beer and not see one tennis match all day.

I don't mind people drinking and watching sport but wouldn't you be better off doing this at the pub?

Expect these kind of people below..

I dont understand why people pay for a ground pass and then go straight to the beer garden for drinking. It's cheaper going to a pub lol

I don't really see it. Her groundstrokes are awkward to watch, but I think she'll make another slam final in her career as a result of her consistency though.
