In a weird way it wouldn't shock me to see him pick and choose tournaments and that might mean not playing much of the clay season (if at all). Lets cut to the chase he's not winning another French. Could easily rest up, prepare for Wimbledon fresh.

Almost feel being fresh actually helps him at his age.

Yep, can't see anyone outside the big 4 doing much.

I mean Nadal routined Raonic like nothing before. Dimitrov got close but Nadal should have won that easier. The rest of them are laughable.

Hoping Thiem comes on though.

Anyone seen Mladenovic or Gavrilovas twitter? Footage of alot of the female tennis players were watching the final together... they were creaming themselves when Fed won! Imagine if Fed was single, the amount of female tennis players having to take a break from tour due to having a baby...:p

Shattered as a Nadal fan, absolutely shattering that he was so close only to fall at the final hurdle. Congrats to Federer though, he deserved it. Put so much pressure on Rafa's serve in the fifth - too much in the end. The dam wall was always going to break.

Two iconic legends of the sport just duking it out, there are no losers really.

Rafa will be back, I have no doubts of that. How ****ing good is this rivalry!!

That's idiotic and not even true.

You don't seem to have a good grasp on facts. And the facts remain - saying that Federer is no chance with Djoko and Murray in the draw is just being silly considering they're not playing at their best and Federer has just won a title after beating Nadal in 5 sets being a break point down in the 5th. He would have beaten either one of those players and so would have Nadal.
