Upset here, Upset there. A lot of big names and top players lost yesterday. Ruud(2), Fritz(8), and Zverev all on 1 afternoon. And as i type this, Novak is 1 set all against a no-name(sorry Enzo). I will write the draws below but, as Nick just mentioned on twitter, one side of the mens resembles an ATP 250. The women's side was boring in comparison. Sure Kontaveit lost but was she really a big name? For once, the womens side is seeing less upsets (so far)

[11] Norrie vs. Lehecka
Outside courts both start at 2pm(ish)
[17] Ostapenko vs. Baindl
McDonald vs. [31] Nishioka
Only 32 single matches today. All of them are above. I am not sure why Rybakina keeps getting shafted to the outside courts. She is the Wimbledon winner who should be ranked in the top 10. Collins vs her should be a great match and deserves a lot better than Kia Arena. Heck, it would be the womens match I am most excited about. Give me Collins Prime Time. Really queer scheduling. Pegula vs Kostyuk is another I will keep a close eye on. Kostyuk is a great young player and I have big wraps on here.
Mens-wise, this section is stacked compared to the other. Seeds v Seeds, especially in the former Nadal quarter. Should make for good viewing and lots of tight matches.
Match of the Day
[7] Medvedev vs. [29] Korda
The 2nd fav vs the runner-up from Adelaide. This is Medvedev's first real test. He hasn't been tested at all in the first 2 rounds. Korda played very well in Adelaide(beat Sinner Murray and RBA) and had a Championship Point v Novak for the title. It was that close. Korda really had a breakthrough 2 years and keeps on improving. They have played each other once, at the Paris Masters in 2021 and Medvedev won in 3.
For me, Medvedev has looked his evil best and will win a very close 4 set victory.
