Brisbane will take Heppell at 5 if WC don't at 4. Apparently.

I don't think we'll take Lycett at 23 (although that could change if Scott gets rid of one our 5 ruckmen now he's on board) I think we'll go for pace at that pick (stated need by Wells), with a Prestia or Andreoli type being the likely candidates. If we feel the need to take a ruckmen we'll do it with one of our third rounders probably, or even the rookie draft, because it's a need, but not as a pressing a need as our defence and midfield (speed).

I like that you've given us Hartigan at 53 and I think it's quite a likely pick, if we don't get Watson or McCarthy up front. Just out of interest, what do you think Hartigan's range is this year? Surely he won't miss out altogether again?

I would say Smedts is highly likely at 15 if he's there. Would be very happy with that pick.

Why do we need another defender? Even in the 3rd round, I would suggest either a ruckman or a small crumbing forward, or another midfielder should be the go. We already have too many defenders.

Not sure what’s going on with Melbourne’s later selections. With Spencer and McKenzie being elevated from the Rookie list unless there are more delisting to come we will only use our first 2 picks.
