I think Ben Phibbs would have to be up there! Plus put Ari Lewski on St Bedes or Uni Blacks team, he would go close to being the number 1 pick I would think.

Cardio, call me old school however why would a club call 'all & sundry' to come and meet the new coach last Wednesday, where I presume 2 important things would have occurred
(1) you would have signed the new coach
(2) the new coach would BE THERE to meet potential players & sponsors.
What is going on down there?.
They may need to put a call in to your old mate RABS2000 as he may be re-called to take over this mess.

Bit rich coming from someone from Keilor. Micky McGuane will fit in down there rubbing shoulders with some of the Melbourne underworld's finest. Gone are the days of having "6 bounces" these days Mick's more likely to have "6 ounces"

Correct Arch. But as the B'Man will tell you, these Skev pick ups are not all 100% starters, nor will they play all that often. Handy names, but i still think it will be the kids who will lead the Skev wagon in 08. Will the names perform as well as Graham did at Xavs (that's for you BS!) or will they be like the majority of ex AFL players before them. Give ma a hungry bunch of kids anyday.

Why would I not be a fan of Old Carey? The more APS Old Boys sides in the higher grades the better IMO.
Partons departure led to Nick Holland climbing onto the recruitment committee and this has proven a golden leafed appointment. Good luck to Carey, they need added strength and have added well, it is not my place to name these ex AFL recruits. Clubs like Beay should look at OC and take a leaf out of their book.
