Drinks

We sit near a guy whos son works at the ground on match days. When we top our refreshing, thirst quenching drinks up his son just nods and smiles at us. From experience you're usually safe as long as you're not drawing too much attention to yourself.

The most important rule that you must abide by, is Do Not Ever, Ever, Ever leave early, because your players can see you leaving, and that will make them feel a bit off.

So very true BP. That one sh**s me almost as much as people slagging their own team. Why the flock do people bother to go to the footy and leave early?

That smacks of lack of ticker to me, just because they want to avoid the traffic crush after the game.

You either support a team or you don't - if you do, you stay to the end (sometimes the bitter end), if you don't, sod off and let a real fan have your seat. They're too precious to squander.

I seem to lose my voice a lot easier after games these days. I'm probably growing a healthy crop of polyps on my vocal cords - no doubt I'll be speaking with a buzzbox or some sort of Steven Hawking voice synth by the time I'm 40.

wonderful image Carnie!

I'll be happy to wheel you into the ground and park you in one of those special seating areas.

make a noise you boring bastards

can everyone here get your fake id out, buy some vodka, inject it into some oranges, take them along to the game this week and scoff a dozen of them in the first half. Then maybe you can get off your asses and make some noise for once.

I've never heard such a lame crowd as i did at subi, except maybe in geelong the other week, but that is geelong after all. You perthians need to get all boozy and made some real noise to help the boys out there. Maybe you can watch the friday night game to get some pointers.

I came over there for the hawthorn game and i swear i was the loudest person there. When i got home a watched the game again and i could hear my yelling and whistles above the whole crowd.

why for you not make noise. we victorian supporters have screamed home some great combacks this year, this week it's your turn.

Lame Factor - High. Who the heck would be bothered to inject oranges with vodka? If your that keen to go to a game tanked - just drown as many as you can before the game.

If the team plays like **** then you should leave early to send them a message that it won't be tolerated.
I remember in 2001 always turning off the TV midway through the second quarter because i realised i was watching a rabble worth $6 million.

Inability to understand the point of a post factor - extreme

no wonder you have 6000 posts, how many times have you missunderstood a post and in your forum and called your fellow eagle supporters lame, or argued about something trivial when the main point is completely missed

the point is, the eagle crowd at subi is too quiet, and they all better get half ****ed, however they can, or the players will think they're at the G.

oh and getting tanked before the game wont work, you'll all fall asleep at half time.

Thanks for that insightful tip sedders. is everyone in victoria as sharp as you?

oops, i came to the wrong forum. i thought this was supposed to be about the eagles, but it seems to be a place where angry adolescents can relieve their frustrations with their parents by snipping at any strangers who dare to offer an opinion. maybe you should put a cap on that and vent it all at the game, i might just hear you cheer when phil kicks a goal

I'm not victorian. i just live here.

Is English a foreign language to you?

if you want to bag the eagle's crowd in Perth then you certainly have come to the wrong forum.

all i said was "the eagle crowd at subi is too quiet". I hope i'm proven wrong on saturday and in the finals. And I hope you guys show a fraction of this anger when someone decks an eagle. Maybe you'll just argue with each other about who's going to go buy the next lemonade.

That's a profound theory, but thanks for pointing that out, i've corrected it now.

I have just completed a research project of examining all your 7 posts for value - unfortunately came up with "jack ****" for anything remotely useful or interesting.

Thanks for coming.

ahh another one. You guys are great, funny, witty, and so accepting of advice. Dont take it personally at all do you.

Well if any of you bother to go to the game on saturday, i hope you remember this little discussion and decide to let out a bit of noise, just for me. Maybe you can all go together and when the game starts to bore you you can start a little chant like "Sedders is a moron" or something. seeing at no one else will be making a noise, I'm sure to hear it.

The next two posts weren't much better either. Incidentally, I have noticed that the BF Eagle fans are much wittier than the Docker fans too.

Come and sit next to me in Bay 315 and get earache.

Lay off this bloke, he is a fellow Eagles supporter and is new to the board and we all make him feel unwelcome.

**** sake.

If you think that we are not quiet at Subiaco games you are sorely mistaken, sedders is 100% correct. Our crowd is too quiet, sure there are a few of us here that go off our head at the games, but we are in the minority. Unlike at the few games I've been to involving two Victorian teams, the crowds get right into it, UNLIKE our crowds.

His injecting oranges quip was obviously just a light hearted joke, his main point being that we don't make enough noise at the game, and maybe alcohol can fix that.

You think this bloke will wanna come back here after about 5 people have dug into him after he has done hardly anything at all?

sedders, I hope you don't think that we treat all newcomers to this board like that, because we definitely don't, I just think you were sorely misunderstood by some people. I hope there is no hard feelings.

nah, sticks and stones and all that. I've copped a lot worse at the games, mainly from bomber fans, and then definately understood when I called loyd a ****er, but copping it from my fellow eagles fans is just plain bizzare. At least these guys are showing some passion, I just hope they learn to direct it at the opposition players.

I also think they saw "Location: Victoria" and assumed i was some victorian knobster hanging it on perthians.

Well I'm not, i've been here for five years due to work but still very much consider myself a perthian. Born there, grew up there (lived next door to benny for a few years), and will return there, and you'll all know about it, i'll be the first guy kicked out for yelling too loud.

so sedders you're an eagle's supporter? well you had me fooled.

it is derby week after all and we do get an influx of rabid, foaming at the mouth, lavender loving posters who like to show their lack of football knowledge by sledging us and all things eagles. i guess your attack on eagles supporters fit that bill mate.

also siding with docker supporters against eagles supporters makes you a bit hard to pick as an eagles man. just a tip ;) you can post whatever you like, your opinions are your opnions no problem but you probably didn't pick your moment of introduction to this forum too well.

cheers. go eagles!

When did i side with docker supporters? All I really said here (in between a few arguements about "lame factors" and the like) is that eagles fans at subi are too quiet, and that I dont know why dockers and eagles hate each other so much.

Maybe next week when we play Colliwobble at the G we can get out the peace pipe and all be friends again.

whats wrong with lavender anyway?
