Hall is a ticking time bomb. He would be better to get into boxing ASAP where he can work off some of that aggression.

Would have to be prepared to play for peanuts for starters. I would imagine that Moons would hang around for at least another 12 months though.

He and Scarlo apparently get on pretty well despite their on field battles.

A few years ago perhaps but not sure if Barry's the sort of guy we'd go for but if they can get it done then so be it. Wouldn't be dead against it.

I'd take him if he was prepared to play for nothing, and only if Mooney was on the way out. Our premiership window should be open for a few more years yet. We don't have a lot of chance of recruiting players to top us up with the whole GC thing happening unless we can trade a few halfways for picks, so I think Hall would be good. I was suggesting this at the start of the year though...

on this occassion unfortunately not.

if Cam did finsih this year i think we would do well to recruit a seasoned forward. we still have a 2-3 year premiership window so ''if' cam did finish after this year who would replace him... i wouldn't want to see lonargen / hawkins forward line, wouldn't want to see a young guy taking that responsibility. we need a strong forward as a replacement and Barry Hall is one option. as others have said i don't think we should rule him out catogorically...

(or maybe i'm just trying to recover from failing at my 1st thread )

Hall is one of the most overrated players going around. I wouldn't even look at him. His just media hyped but I don't think his that good. One trick pony and he gets shut down a lot and has never really set the house on fire in big games either.
