Hope so , I have money on both of them.
But besides that , they sure would be in with a big chance, all we need now is for Judd to come down with a bad case of something that will put him out for a few weeks.

Joel Corey will too. He's a definite poll getter.

That's what I thought last year and he was leading the bloody thing. Never underestimate the idiocy of the umpires.

That game Scarlo had 30 touches against Adelaide, keeping Welsh to 3 disposals and no goals. We won by under a goal, and the 3 votes went to Basset with 15 touches. Never underestimate their idiocy.

With Kerr out of the running both have been slashed it might be wiser to take either or both for a top 3 finish, your odds will be slashed but if you load up on the bet you would still get a decent return.

Atm Judd seems to be miles ahead so hypothetically if you take bartel at $6 for a straight win it would be about $2 for top 3 finish, which is double your money, you may get $3-$4 on ablett for the same bet

In theory both are capable of winning as they play the right style of game. The theory of stealing votes of each other is interesting because a few years ago I would agree however in recent years it dosen't seem to make a huge difference, e.g. West Coast. The key is winning games. Neither will win if Geelong dont finish in the top three.

noone is arguing with you. Even when he has quiet game he gets votes. But with 14 rounds to play anything can happen. Judd could get injured or suspended. Too early to call.

The pros for Bartel is he won't suffer when winter sets in, probably the opposite. The cons for Bartel is he's just as likely as Kerr to get suspended.

Pros for Ablett is the winter shouldn't affect him too much. Shouldn't be too many cons - he's getting better at coping with tags. Still has enough blond hair to get noticed.

That's assuming, touch wood, neither gets injured.

I'm concerned Jimmy will get rubbed out too. I'd prefer to see him get rubbed out though going hard at the ball or a contest and playing the way he normally plays then keeping the Brownlow in the back of his mind when he runs out and dropping any intensity or aggression.

Kerr would have taken votes off Judd though , who knows , he may have got heaps of 1 votes. not going to know for sure until the night soall we can hope for is Jimmy to keep playing well

We keep Bartel, don't get me wrong.. Judd is a gun, but IMO Jimmy, is just as good, but in different ways.

Judd is a more flashy player and thats why he'll win the brownlow.

A bad day for Judd is 25 touches and 1 brownlow vote.. nothing more needs to be said!

saw the geel v west coast game and would not be surprised to see judd amongst the votes, even if it is just the one or the two. first time iv seen him play live and walked away knowing that he is a genuine superstar. how he breaks the tackles and gets away the effective disposals is just phenomenal! even though jimmy is a knob itd be great to see him give it a run...

Yeah Judd is a extremly good player but i would never trade Jimmy for him and i have alot in Jimmy to take out the brownlow medal and easily the Best And Fairest for geelong.
