Can't disagree with that - Ollie was robbed! He does regularly get talked about when coaching jobs come up, so something must be there.

The other who would be a good get is Tom Harley who is at Sydney, I think in a director of coaching/development role.

I know Sean from my footy days at Uni. He played in Adelaide Uni's A grade flag in 1986. I think he was aligned with Torrens, wasnt given much of a chance as a 17/18 year old, his old man Frank used to run the Dover Castle Hotel in North Adelaide ( now a block of apartments) and thru Lincoln College etc knew a lot of Uni players as the College kids used to drink there. Somehow we talked him into playing for Uni for the second half of 1986 and he helped us win the A grade flag. North watched him and recruited him and he debut in 1987 around the time he turned 19. Living in Qld is probably why I havent seen him at past players functions the last few years.

His old man Frank was as good a publican as you would ever find.

Harley is the Swans footy operations manager. He left the AFL NSW/ACT job at the end of the 2014 season. He aint leaving Sydney. His wife is editor of a magazine. Probably makes double what he makes.
