yes, 3,2,1 system for each men's senior matched played, Last year, for the first time, it was one by a player not playing solely A'Grade cricket.

Ever seen the lad play? One of the best eyes i have ever seen, hits the ball so well, not only does he time everything to a tee, but he also hits the lether pill as hard as anyone, Much like Symonds. Just a pitty he is such a big fan of the old Jack's and coke! He plays golf off of a single figure Handicap. Pitty it was nothing for him to miss numerous State trainings because he was having a round and downing a few Jack's on the way... A tallent lost!

as for the 2nd XI - just completed the game against ACT - won by 5 wickets chasing 142 in the 4th innings.

We really need another strike bowler to step up, there is no way Tait can go all season without some able assistance. His body is not built for 4 day cricket, he will break down again.

Realistically, we need to find one anyway. Im not confident in Wise holding down the other opening bowling spot, even when Taity is playing.

Trent Pascoe 06/07, Darren Hutima 07/08, checked it last night, Trent won it as a B Grader the year he won, and Darren won it taking 40+ wickets and making 300 runs in the C Grade captaining the side!

Its hard not to be negative, I said to a few mates how long do you think it will be before we return to the normal state of events and become non-competitve. I said we will start against Tassie this week and they said we have turned the corner.

In positive news young Cramner has made a century for the second eleven. He is only 19 I think so that is a good performance.

Its only a matter of time before Mick gets a go IMO. A few of my mates down at East Torrens reckon he's the bees knees (lets face it hes the only one of them who can make runs) and he does seem to have a great temprement. Cant do any worse really. Cramner for Kahn....... give Younis a run in Grade cricket to find some form !!!
