Err, do I need to explain, stats = ALL stats, not just possessions. Check them. As in, goals, marks, clearances, tackles etc.

Your forgetting that Waters dosen't play in the midfield so some Stats aren't comparable

BTW, i never suggested that Waters is better, just that he isn't as far behind as some people suggested on this thread and that his last 10 games possessions wise indicates this.

His impressive performance in the GF alone suggests that he is closer to Mclean than some think.

Certainly closer than some of these quotes below

if you compare Brock to an eagles player than pick kerr.

Maybe even Judd in a couple of years.

Brock > Waters - Sorry but its no contest

Or

Brock continues to kick his arse and always will.

Or

Brock McLean by the proverbial country mile.

So if you can give some reason why you think Mclean is so far ahead of Waters as you suggest

Brock hasn't even played 50 games and I'd only have about 7 or 8 midfielders (if that) in the league ahead of him performance wise.

That si my argument, I'm not bagging Waters, I'm just saying that Brock really is just that good.
