Anyone else gobsmacked at Medhurst finishing 9th? and even Simmo at 10th was a surprise to me.
Anyway, good on ya Belly ,you are a true champ.

Bit surprised about Medhurst's position. Something wrong with the counting. And yes, I do remember his nine goal haul against Brisbane.

This year's Doig Medallist from Hase 2nd and Pav in 3rd; J-Lo in 4th and McPharlin and Old Man Parks (surprising I would think) finished equal 5th.

The votes are given by off field people who are aware of the tasks the players are given each week.

It just shows Parks must do his allotted job each week. Would have thought Sir Robert would have been in the top five.

I think Pav is a good player but he must learn to bend his back more, and thus I would query Pav's position in the voting in that he had a very ordinary season.
