Out of curiosity, if he hadn't gone to the super bowl, would he still have a place in your team? or would they have dropped him off a while ago. I can't really remember the circumstances under which he left so you guys might have already delisted him, I just wasn't aware.

He's 35 now, so at most he probably would have had one year left before he would have been done.
I remember alot of people being pissed off when he first left because we'd just signed Ottens to help us out and we would have been a dangerous team with Benny down forward as well.
In the end.....we got what we wanted in a premiership, now Benny has the chance to get something big as well.

When and what time is it on? I think I might have to drag myself to watch more then half a game of NFL now.

He'll be fine. Its not a major injury. He has had that injury for the last 6 weeks so I don't know why SEN all of a sudden bring it up now.

They will be facing the Pittsburgh Steelers. The best defensive team in the country.

For those who don't know there NFL. Arizona were given no chance to make the playoffs at the start of the season. Start off with a young quarterback and some young gun wide receivers, no running game and an aging defense. All of a sudden second string QB (some would know Kurt Warner) is the starter then they win 8 out of 11 and surprise everyone to claim a a playoff spot 5 weeks out from the playoffs.

Then the wheels fall off terribly and lose the next 3 (all by big margins) which is how Arizona normally play. (though 2 of those were played in the snow compared to Arizona's desert like temperature)

Not many expected them to beat Atlanta at home in week one which they did.
No one expected them to go to Carolina and win. Which they did.
Then no one thought they would beat Philadelphia this morning. Which they did.
And they will start massive underdogs against the Steelers.
Pittsburgh will start the shortest priced favourites for along time.

For Arizona to win, they must protect the QB so he can hit his recievers. And the running game must be effective.

(on a side note, the Steelers punter this morning shanked a kick badly. Went no more than 20 yards. I'll just be happy for Ben to have a great game) Actually hopefully Ben only gets one or 2 punts as we should pray Arizona dont get into 4th downs. The aim is to continually convert your 2nd and 3nd downs.

If Warner and Fitzgerald are allowed to link up like they did today then the Cards are a big chance.

Gotta love having a plasma at work with 10HD!!!

Graham did not make a superbowl, the Cardinals Made the superbowl, Ben is part of the cardinals. the way Aussies are going on, it is like he did it by himself. he did very little in terms of the game, just like all punters

Sorry, I fail to see your point?

99% of these posters couldn't give a **** about who else is in the superbowl.

You are splitting hairs!.....and being uncharitable, just because you can I think, and because he's an ex Cat..

No need for that, very petty actually IMO..

Well done Ben:thumbsu:

Yeah, sh!t post mate.

From the QB down to the NFL equivalent of a boot-studder, every person at the Cards should be proud of where they are at. Ben should feel no different. Even in the relatively small role he plays, he still got there. And considering on what has happened to him this season, we should all congratulate him on his success.

Field position will be crucial against the Pitt D so Ben will need to be on top form.

I imagine he'll need to get working this offseason if he wants to play next season, when it comes to choosing punters Ben would probably not be in the first 30 i'd choose right now. His leg is just ailing, i'm not sure he's got it in him but he's proven me wrong before when he signed with the Cards. Good luck to him in the SB.
